In this tutorial we’ll show you how to hack Windows administrator password on Windows 8/7/Vista/XP. The only requirement for this is that you need to find an alternative computer to create a password hacking Live CD. Here is a step-by-step instruction to hack Windows administrator password.

  1. Click here to download the Reset Windows Password software. Once the download is complete, unzip the download file and you’ll find the CD ISO image: ResetWindowsPwd.iso.
  2. Burn the ISO image to an empty CD using any CD/DVD recording software such as BurnCDCC or ISO2Disc.
  3. Place the Live CD you’ve created in the CD drive of your computer with the administrator password you want to hack. Head into the computer BIOS and set your computer to boot from CD.
  4. The boot procedure may take one or two minutes, and the Reset Windows Password program will start.
  5. From the main window of Reset Windows Password program, you could see the Windows SAM registry file and user accounts inside the SAM file.
  6. Choose the administrator account, and then click on the Reset Password button. It will blank your forgotten/unknown password instantly.

Now remove the password hacking Lice CD and restart the computer. You can then log in to the administrator account with a blank password. This hack works even if you forgot the administrator password and can’t log in to Windows.

How to Hack Windows XP Password with ERD Commander

Forgot the admin password of your Windows XP computer? How to hack Windows XP password without losing your files? There are plenty of password hacking tools available on the net – commercial as well as free. Here is another way to hack or break the lost administrator password in your Windows XP installation.

ERD Commander is part of the Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset (DaRT), which can help you quickly troubleshoot and repair computer that will not boot. Locksmith is one of the useful utilities inside ERD Commander bootable CD, which allows you to hack Windows XP password easily.

How to Hack Windows XP Password with ERD Commander

To begin to hack Windows XP password, you need to get a registered copy of the Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset (DaRT). Install DaRT on an alternative computer, and then launch the ERD Commander Boot Media Wizard from your Start menu to create a ERD Commander boot CD.

  1. Insert the ERD Commander boot CD into the drive of your Windows XP computer which you want to hack into.
  2. Boot the computer using ERD Commander boot CD. You may have to set the boot order in the BIOS first.
  3. Select your Windows XP installation from the list, and click OK.
  4. After logging into the system inside the boot CD, click on Start menu, then select System Tools and click Locksmith.

Reboot the computer and you can then log on Windows XP using your new password. Unfortunately, DaRT is not free. What’s even worse is that not everyone can buy it. It is part of the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP), which is only available for volume-licensed customers (and for Technet/MSDN subscribers).

Active Directory Password Recovery

  5. After you have the recovery CD, put it into the CD drive of your domain controller whose password you want to recover.
  6. Turn on the domain controller and have it boot from the recovery CD. You may need to go into BIOS and set CD/DVD as the first boot device.
  7. After booting from the recovery CD, it will load the Windows PE operating system inside the recovery CD and start the Reset Windows Password program.
  8. Choose the Active Directory NTDS.dit database, it will display a list of domain user accounts inside the NTDS.dit database.
  9. Choose a domain user account from the list, then click on Reset Password button, the program will replace the forgotten/unknown password with a new password: Password123.
Take out the recovery CD and reboot your domain controller. You can then log in to your Active Directory user account with the new password. The Active Directory password recovery solution works on both 32-bit and 64-bit domain controller.

  6. Select your desired user account and then click Reset Password button. It will remove your forgotten Windows password immediately.

Remove the CD or USB stick and reboot from hard drive, you can then log in to Windows XP Tablet PC with a blank password. If your Tablet PC don’t come with CD drive, you can use a SD card or data stick instead to go through the steps of resetting Windows XP Tablet PC password.

How to Recover Active Directory Password with A Live CD

Forgot Active Directory password is one of the most annoying thing for network administrators in medium to large organizations. If the domain controller is very important for your company, then you have to find some other ways to recover Active Directory password than formatting and reinstalling the server.
